Renew Physical Therapy Provides Top-Notch Care In Portland Area

Do you live in or around the Portland area? Do you or does someone you know need professional physical therapy services? The team at Renew Physical Therapy is happy to provide professional and individualized care to those in need. If you’re concerned that physical therapy might be a painful process, don’t be! Our clinic philosophy emphasizes pain-free physical therapy so that our Portland patients can heal without having to experience additional pain in the meantime.

How Does Physical Therapy Work?

The physical therapy process is a little different for each of our Portland patients. After all, each of the patients that come to us seeking help has unique conditions and needs. Because of this, we tailor our physical therapy treatments to the individual’s needs. There is no ‘one size fits all’ approach to physical therapy.

Generally speaking, however, at Renew Physical Therapy we have pain-free approach to physical therapy. That is to say, unlike some forms of physical therapy, we aim to make the physical therapy itself not painful. We accomplish this by focusing on relying on manual therapy.

The reason some forms of physical therapy can be painful is that certain methods rely on an attempt to decrease pain by strengthening the painful body part. What we do at Renew Physical therapy instead is to improve joint function and eliminate pain through mobilization techniques. To help our Portland patients further, we educate them on their own conditions and suggest behavioral modification strategies to help them avoid things that trigger pain.
